I am a licensed therapist with a centrally located Denver practice in the Rose Medical Center. I share an office suite with experienced, sensitive professionals covering a wide range of specialites. My personal treatment approach is based on the philosophy that people can be empowered to create the life and experiences that they seek. In the safe and supportive atmosphere of therapy, individuals are able to learn about themselves in new ways. This may include something as simple as learning how breathing and posture contribute to one's mood or something more complex like how learned patterns of behavior can stand in the way of achieving satisfaction in life. When one learns more about oneself, choices and a sense of personal freedom appear in situations where one had previously felt stuck. I use a personalized approach in which therapist and client work together to find creative life solutions.
There are many reasons that individuals see me for therapy. These include:
Depression
Anxiety
Life Changes / Adjustment
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
Survivor of Trauma / Abuse
PTSD
Relationship issues
Family Conflict
Marital Counseling
Stress Management
Coping with Divorce
Families of the Mentally Ill
Personal Growth
Other times, even though there is no name for the discomfort one is feeling, clearly something isn't right.
I have day and evening hours. I accept Medicare and other insurances. My fee-for-service rate is $90 per 45 minute session, with a sliding scale for those who need it.
